A birding tour designed to see the biggest amount of the Yucatan Peninsula’s endemic birds in one morning. Starting on a road that goes through ranches and a dry forest where we will be able to find birds like Yucatan Jay (Cyanocorax yucatanicus), Black-throated Bobwhite (Colinus nigrogularis), Orange Oriole (Icterus auratus), Gray-throated Chat (Granatellus sallaei), Yucatan Woodpecker (Melanerpes pygmaeus), Turquoise-browed Motmot (Eumomota superciliosa) among many other birds. After that, we’ll head to the north coast of the Yucatan state looking for specialties like the American Flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber), Yucatan Wren (Campylorhynchus yucatanicus), Mexican Sheartail (Doricha eliza) and Yucatan Gnatcatcher (Polioptila albiventris).

We will pick you up in one of our cars wherever you are staying in Merida at 6:00 am, take you to the birding place and after that return you to your accommodation site (around 12:00 noon). We drive SUVs for the comfort of our clients.
